InterStructures makes Linux
Administration EASY. The intuitive and familiar MMC
GUI front-end enables a Linux novice to quickly
configure and administer a heterogeneous corporate
network with no training.
Interstructures has a 'core' platform and one
installs 'modules' for specific services.
InterStructures provides modules for the following:
Samba File, Print, Samba PDC, Apache, DNS, DHCP,
FTP (vs-ftp and wu-ftp) and Squid Proxy. Many other
modules coming soon.
The
InterStructures platform is certified to work out of
the box on Fedora Core, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
v 2,3,4 and SuSE Enterprise v 8, 9. For other
distributions
Features:
·Consolidation of
Linux Server log files provides one consistent view
of logs across multiple servers
·InterStructures
Administration Console makes Linux usage consistent
by using consistent GUIs and consistent System
Administration concepts throughout the platform. So
DHCP/Squid/Samba whether on Red Hat or Suse or any
other distribution appear the same from an
administration perspective.
·
Task delegation:
InterStructures allows you to give access to
selected parts of your Linux servers (e.g. Give only
Apache access) based on the administrative task.
·Join a Linux Server to
an Active Directory Domain with a few mouse clicks.
Create a Samba PDC in a matter of minutes with
literally no Samba training or background.
·The InterStructures
platform uses 128-bit SSL encryption for all network
communications providing the security required in
enterprise networks.
