QCD Microsystems was founded in new
York City in 2000 driven by the founder's vision of
simplifying Linux and infrastructure administration.
In April 2005, we officially released
Interstructures, the first integrated Linux and
Windows server administration platform. This
innovative product is the first product to market,
which leverages the Windows user interface and the
Windows management platform to manage Linux. Beta
testing since April 2004, we have been working
closely with several large and small organizations
to define customer needs and value.
At InterStructures we regularly
speak with Fortune 500, SMB, VAR, Government and
Educational open source users to understand their
requirements. A large number of those interviewed
expressed an immediate, pressing need for better
administration tools and Windows interoperability in
open source software.
Linux is the world's
fastest-growing operating system in the IT industry.
It is a revolutionary open-source platform that is
reliable, secure, scalable, and powerful; offering
today's businesses the flexibility to innovate for
success. For different size companies or
organizations, Linux is an ideal platform for
maximizing return on investment. QCD with its
InterStructures platform enables Linux to expand and
grow.
QCD brings together a world-class
team
[bios] with deep industry experience and
relationships throughout the IT industry and the
open source community. The company's vision is to
help the Linux market grow by simplifying Linux
Administration and Windows Interoperability.
